SPB 7026: Nursing Shortage

PROPOSED BILL by Health Care

Nursing Shortage; revises criteria for receiving funds under Nursing Student Loan Forgiveness Program; requires that nurses employed as faculty in approved nursing program be given priority in receiving funds under program; requires Board of Nursing to adopt rules requiring nursing applicants & licensees to submit certain information concerning employment & education; authorizes board to provide such information to Florida Center for Nursing. Amends 1009.66. APPROPRIATION: $21,564,119.
