SB 998: Victim's Rights
GENERAL BILL by Posey
Victim's Rights; requires that victim, if known, who is not incarcerated be informed by state attorney that victim or victim's representative has right to consult with state attorney, including right to meet with state attorney, before state attorney decides whether to prosecute person for criminal offense or minor for delinquent act or to offer person or minor pretrial intervention or diversion program, etc. Amends 960.001; reenacts 945.10(1)(b).
