CS/CS/SB 118: Temporary Child Custody

GENERAL BILL by Children and Families ; Judiciary ; Fasano

Temporary Child Custody; removes provisions re putative fathers; defines term "extended family member"; authorizes said family member to bring proceeding in court to determine temporary custody of child; specifies information that must be included in petition for temporary custody by said member; authorizes court to redirect child support payments to said member; requires that, if possible, court order payment of arrearages, etc. Amends Ch. 751.
