CS/SB 1218: Recovery/Vehicles/Vessels

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Bennett ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist

Recovery/Vehicles/Vessels; prescribes rates for towing & storage in counties & municipalities that have not established rates; requires rates for wrecker operator system of FHP to be established & adjusted biannually for purpose of ensuring that rates are equitable; revises certain requirements that notice be provided by mail to owner, insurance company, & persons claiming lien against vehicle or vessel, etc. Amends Chs. 125, 166, 321, 713.
