GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Diaz de la Portilla

Prosecutions/Time Limitations/DNA; specifies applicability period of provision allowing additional limitations period for specified offenses in certain circumstances; provides that prosecution for specified offenses, unless otherwise barred by law, may be commenced at any time after date on which identity of accused is established, or should have been established by exercise of due diligence, through analysis of deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) evidence. Amends 775.15.
