HB 1529: Underground Electric Distribution
GENERAL BILL by Brandenburg
Underground Electric Distribution; creates "Reliable Electricity Enhancement Act"; provides that as of specified date placement of electric distribution facilities underground is industry standard for new distribution facilities; requires PSC to ensure that only minimum reasonable general & indirect costs associated with underground facilities are included as costs of said facilities for any purpose; encourages use of rights-of-way for location of facilities, etc. Amends FS.
