GENERAL BILL by Siplin
Dart-Firing Stun Guns/Training & Use; provides circumstances during which law enforcement, correctional, & correctional probation officers may employ dart-firing stun gun; requires Criminal Justice Standards & Training Commission to establish standards for instruction in use of such guns in self defense & in use of deadly force; requires that minimum number of hours in such training be included in basic skills course required for certification. Creates 943.1717.
