SPB 7062: Medicaid Fraud & Abuse
PROPOSED BILL by Health Care
Medicaid Fraud & Abuse; requires that managed care organizations providing or arranging services for Medicaid recipients establish & maintain special investigative units; requires each organization to submit plan for detecting & preventing fraud & abuse within Medicaid program to AHCA; requires said organizations to file report with Office of Inspector General if fraudulent or abusive act is suspected; provides rulemaking authority, etc. Creates 409.9135.
