GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Consumer Services ; Communications and Public Utilities ; Aronberg ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Lynn

Electronic Mail; requires certain governmental entities to post notice on their websites that electronic mail addresses sent to them are subject to release to public; provides that remedies & penalties under Electronic Mail Communications Act are cumulative; creates "Anti-Phishing Act"; prohibits certain acts re fraudulent use or possession of identifying information; authorizes Legal Affairs Dept. to adopt rules, etc. Amends Ch. 668; creates 668.701-.705.
