GENERAL BILL by Children, Families, and Elder Affairs ; Storms
Children & Families [SPCC]; authorizes DCFS to begin process of reorganization; requires dept. to integrate substance abuse & mental health programs into its structure & priorities; authorizes dept. to use name Department of Children & Families; clarifies provisions that prohibit falsifying, altering, or in any manner destroying records if such act may be detrimental to health, safety, or welfare of individual in care & custody of state agency, etc. Amends 839.13.
