CS/CS/SB 2376: Public Project Construction Bonds [EPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Governmental Operations ; Regulated Industries ; Saunders

Public Project Construction Bonds [EPCC]; provides that amount of bond shall equal contract price except under certain conditions; provides that bond may not be conditioned on performance of design or nonconstruction services if such services are not included in bond amount; authorizes local governments to select construction-management or program-management entities to be responsible for certain construction project activities, etc. Amends 255.05, 287.055; creates 255.103.
