HB 7115: Ad Valorem Tax/Disabled Veterans

GENERAL BILL by Government Efficiency & Accountability Council ; Jordan

Ad Valorem Tax/Disabled Veterans; requires that certain disabled veterans receive discount from ad valorem taxes levied on homestead property; provides conditions under which discount applies; provides application procedures; authorizes governing body of county to waive requirement that annual application be made for veteran's disability discount; requires veteran receiving such discount to notify property appraiser of any changes, etc. Creates 196.082, amends 196.011, 192.0105.
