GENERAL BILL by Posey
Motor Vehicles/Minor in Bed of Truck [EPCC]; Prohibits the operator of a pickup or flatbed truck from allowing a minor to ride in the open body of the pickup or flatbed truck while on a public road unless the minor is restrained in safety restraints or secure seating. Provides that this prohibition does not apply in a medical emergency or natural disaster if the child is accompanied within the truck by an adult, etc.
