CS/SB 590: Pari-mutuel Wagering [EPCC]
GENERAL BILL by Regulated Industries ; Jones
Pari-mutuel Wagering [EPCC]; Requires the Division of Pari-mutuel Wagering to adopt rules governing the humane treatment of racing animals at pari-mutuel facilities. Deletes provisions requiring a biweekly period for the payment of jai alai taxes and greyhound dogracing taxes. Requires that the division adopt rules for the supervision and regulation of the welfare of racing animals. Limits the hours of cardrooms operations, etc.
