SB 608: Indigent Persons/Court Fees and Penalties [LPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Crist ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bennett ; Fasano

Indigent Persons/Court Fees and Penalties [LPCC]; Waives civil court costs and fees for a person whose income is equal to or below 150 percent of then-current federal poverty guidelines. Also waives civil court costs and fees for a person who receives Temporary Assistance for Needy Families-Cash Assistance (TANF), poverty-related veteran's benefits, or Supplemental Security Income (SSI), etc.
