CS/HB 7045: Public School Curricular Standards [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Policy & Budget Council ; Schools & Learning Council ; Pickens ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Altman ; Carroll ; Flores ; Homan ; Legg ; McKeel ; Zapata

Public School Curricular Standards [SPCC]; Requires State Board of Education to review Sunshine State Standards & replace them with enhanced curricular standards; provides for adoption, review, & revision of standards; restricts expenditure of appropriations for FCAT preparation; specifies additional criteria for evaluating instructional materials; revises requirements for statewide assessment program & Commissioner of Education duties, etc.
