CS/CS/SB 1304: Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Higher Education Appropriations ; Higher Education Appropriations ; Joyner

Byrd Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute [SPSC]; Establishes the Johhnie B. Byrd, Sr., Alzheimer's Center and Research Institute within the University of South Florida. Creates a board of directors to oversee the management and operation of the institute. Provides that the institute shall be administered by a CEO. Requires the CEO to actively seek grant moneys to fund research at the institute. Provides for the transfer of all assets & records of the institute to the university, etc.
