SB 1510: Excise Tax on Documents [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Lawson
Excise Tax on Documents [SPSC]; Permits an election to forego the payment of the tax on certain deeds, instruments, and documents for transfers of real property which change the form of ownership of real property without effecting a change in the beneficial ownership interest. Requires the election to be made on forms issued by the Department of Revenue and recorded in the official records.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
