SB 1638: Foster Care/Community-based [WPSC]

GENERAL BILL by Gelber

Foster Care/Community-based [WPSC]; Requires that the DCFS ensure that contracts with community-based agencies are funded by general revenue and federal funding sources. Requires the agencies to document federal earnings and to return undocumented earnings to the DCFS. Permits contracts with the agencies to be increased by excess earnings. Authorizes the DCFS to outsource certain functions relating to the agencies, etc.
