Prisoner's Immigration Status/Verification [SPSC]; Requires the staff of a jail or other detention center or facility to make a reasonable effort to determine the citizenship status of a person charged with specified crimes. Requires facility staff to verify the person's immigration status and notify the United States Department of Homeland Security if the person is not lawfully in the United States. Requires agencies affected by this act to adopt written procedures, etc.
