GENERAL BILL by Finance and Tax ; Altman
Taxes On Transient Rentals [WPSC]; Requires persons who engage in certain business activities to collect and remit the tax on transient rentals. Prohibits an owner, owner's representative, or operator from authorizing another person to facilitate the rental of transient rental accommodations unless the person agrees to collect and remit the tax on transient rentals. Authorizes the Department of Revenue to adopt emergency rules to implement the act, etc.
