SB 1008: Recovering, Towing, or Storing Vehicles or Vessels

GENERAL BILL by Simmons

Recovering, Towing, or Storing Vehicles or Vessels; Revises procedures for notification concerning liens for the recovery of certain costs for recovering, towing, or storing a vehicle or vessel. Removes the authority of the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to release information concerning the insurance company. Revises requirements for locating and notifying persons about the impending sale of an unclaimed vehicle or vessel or its contents. Revises requirements concerning public notice of the impending sale, etc.
