CS/SB 1010: Neighborhood Improvement Districts

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Simmons

Neighborhood Improvement Districts; Revises the short title to become the "Neighborhoods Improvement Act." Authorizes the governing body of any municipality or county to form a neighborhood improvement district through the adoption of an ordinance rather than by a planning ordinance. Removes provisions pertaining to the creation and funding of safe neighborhood districts. Revises provisions authorizing a local governing body to create a local government neighborhood improvement district, etc.
