CS/SB 1840: Motor Vehicles

GENERAL BILL by Transportation ; Altman

Motor Vehicles; Cites this act as the "Minor Traffic Safety Act." Prohibits a person younger than 18 years of age from operating a motor vehicle while using a wireless communications device or telephone. Provides exceptions. Provides for enforcement as a secondary action. Provides a penalty. Provides procedures for a citation issued following a violation of certain restrictions, to conform to changes made by the act, etc.
