SB 1892: Health Care
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Health Care; Requires the Board of Medicine and the Board of Osteopathic Medicine to issue expert witness certificates to certain physicians licensed outside the state. Expands the scope of practice to authorize an advanced registered nurse practitioner to order, administer, monitor, and alter any drug or drug therapies that are necessary for the proper medical care and treatment of a patient under specified circumstances. Revises the burden of proof that a claimant must demonstrate in order to prove medical negligence by a health care provider, etc.
