CS/SB 1922: Health and Human Services
GENERAL BILL by Banking and Insurance ; Garcia
Health and Human Services; Revises eligibility requirements for participation in the Florida Health Choices Program. Provides that statutory rural hospitals are eligible as employers rather than participants under the program. Authorizes personal identifying information of a Florida Kidcare program applicant to be disclosed to the Florida Health Choices, Inc., to administer the program. Requires AHCA to establish a demonstration project in Miami-Dade County of a long-term care facility and a psychiatric facility to improve access to health care by medically underserved persons, etc.
