SB 1956: Public-private Partnerships
GENERAL BILL by Bennett
Public-private Partnerships; Establishes the Florida Public-Private Partnership Act. Provides for private entities to develop and operate public-purpose projects. Provides an exemption from the Consultant's Competitive Negotiation Act and any interpretations, regulations, or guidelines of the Department of Management Services. Provides for affected local governments to comment on proposed projects. Provides for federal, state, and local financing. Provides sovereign immunity for public entities with respect to specified project activities, etc.
