CS/SB 434: Assessment of Residential Real Property
GENERAL BILL by Community Affairs ; Latvala ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano
Assessment of Residential Real Property; Prohibits adding the value of certain improvements to the assessed value of certain real property. Provides a limitation on the assessed value of certain real property. Provides procedural requirements and limitations. Requires a nonrefundable filing fee. Specifies additional exceptions to assessments of homestead and nonhomestead property at just value. Repeals provisions relating to the renewable energy source property tax exemption, etc.
Effective Date: July 1, 2011, and applies to assessments beginning January 1, 2012
