GENERAL BILL by Horner ; Bernard ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Albritton
Motor Vehicle Insurance; Repeals Florida Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law; creates Florida Mandatory Emergency Payments Coverage Law & provides purpose thereof; requires every owner or registrant of motor vehicle required to be registered & licensed in this state to maintain specified security under such law; specifies means by which such security is provided; provides requirements with respect to filing & maintaining proof of security required under such law; provides requirements with respect to filing & maintaining proof of required security; requires that insurance policies provide mandatory emergency payments coverage to specified persons; provides limits of coverage; specifies limits for medical benefits; provides for subrogation rights.
