GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Health and Human Services Quality Subcommittee ; Brodeur

Health Care Facilities; Amends provisions relating to exclusions from part II of ch. 83, F.S., Florida Residential Landlord & Tenant Act; amends provisions relating to Drug-Free Workplace Act; provides that portion of additional fines assessed for traffic violations within enhanced penalty zone be remitted to DOR & deposited into Brain & Spinal Cord Injury Trust Fund of DOH to serve certain Medicaid recipients; repeals provisions relating to confidentiality of inspection reports of licensed birth center facilities; designates Florida Hospital/Sandford-Burnham Translational Research Institute for Metabolism & Diabetes as resource for research in prevention & treatment of diabetes; provides requirements for urgent care centers to post schedule of charges; provides exemption; provides penalties, etc.
