GENERAL BILL by Budget

Transportation; Repealing provisions relating to contract requirements for transportation projects; revising provisions for the financing of port transportation or port facilities projects; increasing funding for the Florida Seaport Transportation and Economic Development Program; adding military access facilities to the types of facilities included in the Strategic Intermodal System and the Emerging Strategic Intermodal System which form components of an interconnected transportation system; requiring that a challenge to a consolidated environmental resource permit or an associated variance or a sovereign submerged lands authorization proposed or issued by the Department of Environmental Protection in connection with the state’s deepwater ports be conducted pursuant to certain summary hearing provisions, etc.

Effective Date: except as otherwise expressly provided in this act, this act shall take effect July 1, 2012
