SB 2002: Implementing the 2012-2013 General Appropriations Act

GENERAL BILL by Budget

Implementing the 2012-2013 General Appropriations Act; Authorizing a university board of trustees to expend reserve or carry-forward balances for the establishment of a new campus; specifying how funds appropriated to the Department of Children and Family Services for adult community mental health and adult substance abuse services are spent; authorizing the Agency for Health Care Administration to provide a Medicaid prepaid dental health program in Miami-Dade County; authorizing the Executive Office of the Governor to transfer appropriations between the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission in order to implement projects relating to the restoration of Lake Apopka; providing that a participant in an adult or youth work experience activity under ch. 445, F.S., is an employee of the state for purposes of workers’ compensation coverage, etc.

Effective Date: except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall take effect upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2012; or, if this act fails to become a law until after that date, it shall take effect upon becoming a law and shall operate retroactively to July 1, 2012
