Rec./State Gaming Commission; Provides exemption from public records requirements for confidential & proprietary business information & trade secrets received by State Gaming Commission; provides exemption from public records requirements for information held that would reveal investigation techniques & procedures used by State Gaming Commission; provides exception to exemption for other governmental entities having oversight or regulatory or law enforcement authority; provides penalties for employee of commission who violates provisions of act; provides for future review & repeal of exemption under Open Government Sunset Review Act; provides statement of public necessity.

Effective Date: on the same date that HB 487 or similar legislation takes effect, if such legislation is enacted in the same legislative session, or extension thereof, and becomes law. Two-thirds vote of the membership of each house of the Legislature is required
