SB 1346: Driver Licenses and Identification Cards

GENERAL BILL by Evers

Driver Licenses and Identification Cards; Revising the application requirements for an identification card to distinguish between a Florida federal identification card and a Florida nonfederal identification card; prohibiting the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles from obtaining biometric information from an applicant for a Florida nonfederal identification card; specifying that a Florida nonfederal driver license may only bear a color photograph and not a digital image; prohibiting the department from charging an applicant for a Florida nonfederal driver license or identification card a delinquency fee under certain circumstances, etc.
