GENERAL BILL by Perry ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Passidomo
Expert Witnesses; Requiring a court to pay reasonable fees to members of an examining committee for their evaluation and testimony regarding persons with disabilities; authorizing, rather than requiring, a court to appoint up to two additional experts to evaluate a defendant suspected of having an intellectual disability or autism under certain circumstances; authorizing a court to take less restrictive action than commitment if an expert finds a child incompetent, etc.
