CS/CS/SB 1726: Agency for Health Care Administration

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Health Policy ; Bean

Agency for Health Care Administration; Requiring birth centers to report certain deaths and stillbirths to the agency; revising provisions requiring the agency to conduct licensure inspections of nursing homes; removing a requirement that the agency annually report to the Governor and the Legislature by a specified date on the progress of implementation of electronic prescribing and, instead, requiring the agency to annually publish such information on its website, etc.

Effective Date: Except as otherwise expressly provided in this act and except for this section, which shall become effective upon this act becoming a law, this act shall take effect July 1, 2020
