GENERAL BILL by Health and Human Services Committee ; Children, Families and Seniors Subcommittee ; Massullo ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Bartleman ; Fetterhoff ; Hunschofsky

Mental Health and Substance Abuse; Authorizes release of certain information to facilities for specified purpose; revises conditions under which patient's communication may be restricted; requires receiving facility to notify specified emergency contacts of individuals who are being involuntarily held for examination; provides requirements for reports issued by law enforcement officers; requires DCF to receive & maintain reports relating to transportation of patients; provides criminal penalty.
