Enforcement of School Zone Speed Limits; Authorizing a county or municipality to enforce the speed limit in a school zone at specified periods through the use of a speed detection system; authorizing a county or municipality to place or install, or contract with a vendor to place or install, a speed detection system in a school zone; specifying conditions for the placement or installation of speed detection systems; requiring a county or municipality that installs a speed detection system to provide certain notice to the public; requiring a law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over a county or municipality conducting a school zone speed detection system program to use certain funds to administer the School Crossing Guard Recruitment and Retention Program, etc.
