Student Cardiac and Medical Emergencies; Citing this act as the “HeartCharged Act”; requiring each public school to have at least one automated external defibrillator on school grounds; encouraging each public school to establish public and private partnerships and seek gifts, grants, and other donations for specified purposes; providing immunity from liability for school employees and students under the Good Samaritan Act and the Cardiac Arrest Survival Act; revising the requirements for certain athletic coaches to include certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation, first aid, and the use of an automatic external defibrillator, etc.
