Building Construction; Requiring the Florida Building Code Administrators and Inspectors Board to establish by rule certain internship programs, certain eligibility criteria for one- and two-family dwelling inspector certifications, and a certain application process; authorizing an owner or, in certain circumstances, an owner’s agent to sign certain documents personally or virtually; requiring a newly designated qualifying agent to apply to the Department of Business and Professional Regulation for a change of contractor within a certain timeframe in certain jurisdictions; revising the threshold contract value amount at which a building permit issuing authority must require an applicant to file a copy of a notice of commencement, etc.
