GENERAL BILL by Smith
Immigration and State-issued Identification; Citing this act as the “Florida Economic Prosperity and Immigration Act”; establishing the Office for New Americans in the Department of Commerce; deleting a provision authorizing the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to require applicants to produce certain documents from the United States Department of Homeland Security for certain purposes; deleting a requirement for certain private employers to use the E-Verify system; prohibiting a person or entity from discriminating against an individual because the individual holds or presents a driver license that does not comply with the REAL ID Act of 2005, etc.
