GENERAL BILL by Botana ; Cassel

Residential Property Insurance Policy Cancellations, Nonrenewals, and Rate Changes; Prohibits insurers from canceling or nonrenewing, within certain timeframes, policies covering personal residential or commercial residential properties damaged by hurricanes or wind losses; provides that such prohibition applies to flood damages caused by hurricanes; provides that insurer may not cancel personal residential or commercial residential property insurance policies until certain repairs are made or specified policy renewal expires; prohibits certain claims for loss or damage from being covered under extended or renewed policy.
