400.0089  Agency reports.--The Department of Elderly Affairs shall maintain a statewide uniform reporting system to collect and analyze data relating to complaints and conditions in long-term care facilities and to residents, for the purpose of identifying and resolving significant problems. The department and the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council shall submit such data as part of its annual report required pursuant to 1s. 400.0067(2)(g) to the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Department of Children and Family Services, the Florida Statewide Advocacy Council, the Advocacy Center for Persons with Disabilities, the Commissioner for the United States Administration on Aging, the National Ombudsman Resource Center, and any other state or federal entities that the ombudsman determines appropriate. The State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council shall publish quarterly and make readily available information pertaining to the number and types of complaints received by the long-term care ombudsman program.
