| Project Description: |
| The project consists of the restoration of approximately 50 acres of diverse wetland habitat, in conjunction with the construction of a new water reclamation facility. The project will be located in Bonita Springs just east of Interstate 75, approximately 1 mile north of Terry Street. Treated effluent will be used to assure that an appropriate wetland hydroperiod can be maintained. Recreational and educational features, such as boardwalks and interpretive signage, are also planned to further the benefits this project will provide to the community. |
