| Project Description: |
| Design and construction of the second phase of Taxiway C to connect the existing taxiway on the north side of the terminal complex. The taxiway will provide additional capacity to access the primary runway improving taxiway efficiency and offering an increased level of safety for aircraft operation as recommended by the FAA Customer Service Advisory Group. |

| Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
| Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, because of it's rapidly growing traffic, has become a capacity impacted facility. When delays are experienced here it has a negative impact throughout the national air traffic system. Any small improvements to alleviate ground delays have a direct cost benefit. This project will enhance traffic flow to and from the terminal and in conjunction with other imporvements, greatly improve air space capacity and flow. |
