Project Description: |
The Utilities Administration and some field operations are located on the same property as the Fiveash Water Treatment Plant. The project would include purchasing property large enough, within the City's corporate limits, to relocate these offices, which would provide the water treatment plant room for future upgrades and expansions. |
|
Is this a project related to a federal or state declared disaster? |
Yes |
If yes, which declared disaster? |

If yes, which year? |

Measurable Outcome Anticipated: |
The project would provide the existing Water Treatment Plant (Fiveash) room for expansion. The Plant is locking in by railroad tracks on the west boundry, Interstate 95 on the east boundry and city streets on the north and south boundries with no available room for plant upgrades and/or expansion. Moving the Administration Building would provide additional space for future needs. |
