| The trailheads will provide hikers, bicyclists, and equestrians on the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail with access to facilities such as stables, restrooms, interpretive kiosks, trails, food services, museum and educational facilities, overnight stays, campgrounds, fishing access, marine and recreational opportunities. |

| The project will attract tourists to the Glades communities and the creation of over 100 jobs and 30 vendor opportunities.
