| Project Description: |
| The Village is requesting funding to provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment for approximately 250 adolescents who are arrested, referred and/or admitted to a special unit, separate from the general population, at the Miami-Dade County Juvenile Detention Center. Services will include a comprehensive assessment for all children referred to the special unit; a treatment plan for all admitted to the special unit following assessment; and aftercare and case management for all children who are not transferred to another detention program. |
