| The Tampa Bay Prefroming Arts Center, the largest performing arts center in the Southeast, is a major economic driver for Hillsborough County, the Tampa Bay region, and the state. Annually, more than 700 performances are attended by over 600,000 Floridians and cultural tourists. Each year, more than 40 different arts education programs serve over 60,000 K-12 school children, college/university students, adults and families, providing training and programming not otherwise available. Annual economic impact: $93 million. |

| Project Description: |
| Request is to help renovate and repair the Center's glass and steel canopy system, walkways, fountains and fountain plaza and to reseal the exterior of the original building. Because the facility is approaching 20 years of service, this request for vital repairs and renovations to the exterior areas of the original structure will help ensure the Center will be able to provide cultural services to the community for many years to come. |
