Project Description:
This project will install 900 linear feet of piping and two nutrient reduction baffle boxes to separate a stormwater collection system to reduce flooding and reduce pollution. One side of the system at a higher elevation is connected to a system virtually that is at a lower elevation. This allows water to flow from the higher elevations to the lower elevations rather than actually flow off the island. This contributes to the flooding affecting 90 homes in the United/Ashby basin which has significant repetitively flooded homes. The services to be provided by the project include engineering, construction management, pollutant discharge reduction devices, piping and inlets to separate the two systems.
